Allergies and Kids

Let's face it. Your child's nasal allergies can affect more than their nose. Many children who suffer from nasal congestion and other symptoms may find it nearly impossible to sleep.

In fact, in a 2002 study of allergy sufferers and parents of allergy sufferers, 91% cited congestion as the most common complaint.* Nighttime nasal congestion may lead to a poor night's sleep for children.

When your child doesn't get a good night's sleep, he or she may endure a decreased ability to concentrate in school, which may lead to poor academic performance.

As a parent, a very important thing you can do is to educate yourself about nasal allergies and treatment options.
